Verify Biological Indicators sunt teste biologice de verificare a eficacitatii sterilizarii cu abur (121°C-134°C) si oxid de etilena (37°C -54°C). Fiola S3060 contine un sistem complet autonom cu indicator biologic cu 2 tulpini, indicator chimic pentru abur si oxid de etilena, mediu de cultura si indicator de PH. Testul are doua tulpini de spori bacterieni: Bacillus stearothermophilus (E5) si Bacillus atrophaeus (E6). Timpul de incubare, pana la validarea rezultatului sterilizarii pentru abur este de 24 ore la 55°C-60°C si pentru oxid de etilena este de 48 ore la 35°C-39°C.
