Indicator biologic pentru sterilizarea cu abur.
Contine spori bacterieni G. stearothermophilus pe suport de hartie aflati intr-un tub mic de plastic rezistent la temperatura.
Inauntrul acestui tub de plastic exista o mica fiola de sticla ce contine mediul de cultura constand din caseina digerata de soia si un indicator de ph care va deveni galben la dezvoltarea bacteriilor.
