Testul One Step C. difficile A / B este un test calitativ care utilizează tehnologia imunocromatografică. Formatul de testare este o nitroceluloză imunoanalitică de tip sandwich într-un panel combinat pentru a detecta Toxina A și Toxina B. Procedeul de testare implică legarea toxinei C. difficile A sau B de la un eșantion de scaun de la un pacient la particule colorate conjugate la un anticorp monoclonal împotriva Toxinei B sau un anticorp policlonal împotriva Toxinei A.
