The median base salary for contabil ia in public hospitals is 6,353 lei gross per month, calculated from 22 positions in 16 hospitals (each hospital's most recent list (2020-09-30 – 2026-03-31)). The lowest found is 1,341 lei, the maximum 7,020 lei. Bonuses, on-call shifts and allowances are not included.
The highest median base salary is at Spitalul Clinic de Pneumoftiziologie Leon Daniello (Cluj): 7,020 lei. The lowest is at Spitalul Municipal De Urgenta Moinesti (Bacău): 1,341 lei. The differences come mostly from seniority step, professional grade and job classification.
From the salary transparency lists every public hospital must publish on its website on 31 March and 30 September (art. 33 of Law 153/2017). The lists contain no personal names.
